The Pursuit of Contentment: By Sahiba Narang

I would best describe myself who believes in the power of now. Whether it is to execute a task or to enjoy life..I believe in living in the present for it is the present that shapes our future!

I am someone who believes in self evolvement and that every new day teaches us a lesson that can help us be a better person. We need to keep our mind and heart open to enjoy the true experiences life has to offer. - Sahiba Narang

As our list of desires grow longer, our lives become a constant battlefield; where we strive to achieve more and more in order to check every box on that ever growing list. While this list is never ending, our life evolves into this search for the superfluous, where we conveniently forget the basic and most important things that truly matter in life.

This video I’m sure has brought many to tears. Rightfully so; for we are in constant denial about how amazing our lives are and for how much we are truly blessed with. It’s inspiring to see how someone who has nothing normal and perhaps nothing easy in his life continues to face a new challenge every moving minute of the day with the biggest smile on his face

Our perceptions of this video may vary, we might feel sad and pity for someone to go through life in this manner. However his inception he cannot choose, although his journey he has chosen to enjoy every moment of the way. If we analyze this man’s life and his approach with wide-view lenses, we need to realize the need for a change in our attitude towards the way we live our lives. Our outlook needs to be inverted. We need to change our checklist to what we have already and I’m sure all other desires will follow suit naturally.

I believe the power to feel happy and give out this positive energy boils down to acceptance and contentment. Can this outsider change our mindset and outlook? Let’s hope we do not have to learn our lessons from our own losses. Are we ready to open our eyes and minds?
